Part I: Maximizing
Your Artistic Talent in Esthetic Dentistry |
|
| |
Dentistry has always been an art and a
science. The problem is we have spent most of our effort
studying the science and too little perfecting the artistic
aspect. This presentation deals with one of the most important
elements in improving our esthetic restorations . . . visualization.
The ability of the dentist
to see and alter the silhouette form most times differentiates
average from exceptional esthetic dentistry. This presentation
focuses on improving your visual perception of a smile by
mastering the art of illusion using cosmetic contouring, bonding,
laminating and crowning

Part II: The Interdisciplinary
Approach |
|
| |
This presentation offers new guidelines
to obtain the best esthetic result, including profile consideration.
The teeth, soft tissue and patient's facial and smile silhouette
form all affect the treatment plan. When to refer and when
not to refer, from the perspective of both the ideal and
a compromised treatment plan, as well as maximum utilization
of the entire dental team to help achieve maximum esthetics
will also be covered.
