Three
days of mega event in esthetic dentistry organized
by Global Dentech, Mumbai, was concluded on 26th Feb
2006. Drs. Ronald Goldstein, David Garber, and Maurice
Salama popularly known as Team Atlanta
world over, presented their clinical skills to a packed
audience of eminent dental practitioners at "Optimal
Esthetics 2006" NCPA Theatre, Mumbai,
India.
A section of one of India's best theatre facility
was transformed into a dental operatory with complete
asepsis for the conference. The stage had a 60-foot
video screen, specially created to give the attendees
a close-up view of each live procedure and surgery.
This technological experience was unlike anything
ever before accomplished in India.
Six interactive lectures and seven live procedures
on patients in need of cosmetic dentistry were performed
by Drs. Goldstein, Garber, and Salama. Due to the
unprecedented number of live dental demonstrations
at one conference, the event required several days
and nights of on-site preparation. Dr Shirish and
Dr Sharmila Kulkarni of Global Dentech made sure that
the best of equipment and material was in place for
the live demonstration.

Goldstein launched the conference by teaching one-hour
smile makeovers. Dr. Garber followed on the second day,
and Dr. Salama conducted the grand finale on the third
day by operating on a young man who was missing his two
front teeth. |

The
event had presence of significant trade and the support
and participation of sponsors like 3M ESPE,

which can not be overemphasized.

On
Saturday, an intellectually challenging scientific
session was followed by a grand banquet at the
Taj President Hotel. There everyone, including
the speakers, let their hair down and had a
fun filled evening.

The
visiting Faculty was impressed with the level
of education and the enthusiastic participation
from the attending dentists. The announcement
of a tie-up with
Global Dentech for continuing education starting
in India and ending in Atlanta was welcomed
by one and all.

in Esthetic Dentistry, Implants, Perio-Esthetics,
advanced courses in Implants and Bone Regeneration
will be conducted by Global Dentech and Team Atlanta. |
